Virtual Learning has become synonymous with learning via the internet. It is designed to facilitate teachers and learners. Templates for content pages, discussion for a, chat, quizzes, exercises, blogs, RSS etc are some of the components of the virtual learning.

The need for an ICT-initiative can not be overemphasized as there is an urgent need for access to ICT to bridge the digital divide and open up empowering channels.Technology has enormous potential to address the challenge of educational transformation. The Governments in Asia are very aware of the development of new teaching models, which will ensure greater knowledge retention and conceptual understanding.

Development Objective
• To equip the rural communities with vocational education and training and help create linkages to livelihood opportunities.
• To create an educated voter pool.
• To create the media units and interactive components which shall ensure freedom of expression and will give voice to the unheard and also improve the communicative capacity.

Project Outputs
• Training 1000 X 12 = 12000 members of the rural community during the pilot stage in different areas .
We will set up a fully equipped media production unit in each center.
The students will become professionally qualified in their chosen area in short-term courses and find alternative employment instead of just relying on traditional sources of income like agriculture or folk arts.
